Registration Vault’s main screen provides quick access to all software, web site, and password information. Customize the columns to change the column order, hide or show columns, and group software by any column.
Registration Vault Add Software
Registration Vault’s add software screen captures the important information for the software package. Capture: name, date purchased, version, upgrade information, company, customer number, order number, cost, member area user id and password, Registration Information including registration Keys and license information, and capture the name of the computer where the software is installed.
Correspondence
The correspondence tab on the Registration Vault’s software information screen provides a place where e-mail for the software package may be dragged and dropped from Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Attachments are stored with the email in Registration Vault. The email may be dragged to the grid or click the mailbox to open a small window where the email may be dragged to attach to the software information.
Registration Files
The registration files tab on the Registration Vault’s software information screen provides a place where any registration files may be dragged and dropped from Windows to keep in the database with the software information.
Options
Registration Vault’s options allows customization over the appearance of the screens, password visibility in lists, default values to eliminate some typing, copy record options, and password configuration.
Registration Information at Install Time
When installing an application that has been added to Registration Vault the registration information is available to drag and drop into corresponding fields or copy and paste into the fields to eliminate any typing errors. The registration key may be dragged as an entire key or each key section individually when the application uses multiple input boxes for the key.
